Versafi Magazine just wrapped up another awesome book by two sisters named Chyrel Jackson and Lyris Wallace. This was a book of poetry that wasn’t just any book of poetry, but something special and passionate.  When I first read this book, I was moved by the words each sister poured out on each page. One thing that stood out the most within the whole book were the dedication of the different people that was mentioned throughout the entire book.  These two authors really make it personal as if you was really there while they were writing it! The one thing I enjoy about reading poetry books, books in general is the personal connection that is felt throughout the book.  It reminded me of the Harlem Renaissance and I really enjoyed being apart of the journey with each page.

Most poetry books that I have read were a little shorter, but the only thing I wished was that the authors separate the different volumes because it made it a little difficult for me to read over 200 pages. But overall, I enjoyed the book! Great job ladies!
